We price by volume — how much of the truck your stuff fills — not by the hour. A half-garage of boxes is a small load; a packed two-car garage is a big one. You get a firm number before we start, and it doesn’t move unless you add to the pile.
Most garage cleanouts land in the small-to-mid range because so much of it is light. Heavy items like old appliances or a workbench factor in, and we’ll tell you up front. Send a photo of the garage when you call and we can ballpark it fast.
Where it all goes
We sort as we load. Usable furniture, tools, and equipment go to donation — the Habitat ReStore and Goodwill take a lot of what ends up in garages. Metal, including old appliances and scrap, goes to recyclers. Clean wood and cardboard get recycled too.
Only what’s genuinely done goes to the county transfer station. Hazardous items — paint, oil, chemicals — we leave with you for a Peoria County household hazardous waste collection, since those can’t go in a standard load.
